GIVING

“Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops” (Proverbs 3:9).

Our God is a giving God. Giving is one of his attributes. Christians should take great joy in being able to reflect and share in God’s attributes through the act of giving. Giving purposely guards the giver in being robbed of the joy of giving. A cheerful attitude before God is the goal of the giver.
